Perhaps some cedar chips and/or mothballs could be tossed into the bag with
the shirt.



Also the box will need to be a larger size box.



I would advise hiding the box a bit off the beaten path so as to not be
readily seen by just anyone.

Be cautious as far as harming animals goes.

If an animal decides to chew open the letterbox, as they sometimes like to
do, things like mothballs and those little silica/desiccant packets are
toxic.

Or is that comment too negative? :-)
